This will be your guide to understanding the philosophy, as well as the details of our practice. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the office (678-454-0202) or email us at

Our Services:
Dr. Parker-Royer specializes in osteopathy, homeopathy, and other alternative
veterinary care for dogs, cats, and horses. We are a specialty practice, but we also perform vaccine titers, vaccines if needed, heartworm, fecal, and Coggins testing, and yearly lab work for established clients. Dr. Parker-Royer is accessible to her clients via text or email whenever she is not seeing patients in the clinic or tending to her farm.
How Can We Help Your Animal?
The principles of vitalistic methods, such as osteopathy, homeopathy, and proper nutrition, are based on the fact that, given the right circumstances, the body can heal itself. Dr. Parker-Royer focuses on getting your animal’s body to respond to the best of its ability by giving you the benefit of her education, experience and recommendations in these areas.
Before Your First Visit:
Please read our website thoroughly, gather any previous lab work or x-rays you have, and email them to [email protected].
What Can You Expect from the First Visit?
At the first visit, Dr. Parker-Royer will thoroughly go over your animal’s history, including current complaints and previous problems. She will
perform a thorough physical examination and discuss the treatment(s) she feels is best. Modalities she uses include homeopathy, osteopathy, acupuncture, cold laser therapy, herbal remedies, nutritional changes, bio-scan testing, as well as any conventional diagnostics needed.
How Long Will First Appointment be?
First appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes, but it could be in the range of 1-3 hours if any additional diagnostic testing is needed.
How Much Will This Cost?
New patients can expect to pay between $350 to $550 for the first visit (puppies and kittens are less). This depends on what tests and/or treatments Dr. Parker-Royer recommends; the visit cost increases proportionately. Returning patients pay between $150 and $300 for office visits based on the severity of the disease being treated. We make every effort to only perform testing that we feel your animal needs and if you prefer to discuss pricing beforehand, please let us know, and feel free to ask questions at any time.
How Often Will My Animal Need to be Seen?
This varies from patient to patient, but in general a healthy, younger animal needs to be seen only once every 6 months and an older animal
with more chronic illness every 3 months. Please realize it may take 1-3 visits, a few weeks apart, to stabilize your animal in the beginning, and this cannot be predicted without first evaluating the animal in person.
What Types of Diseases and Problems Do You Treat Successfully?
Dr. Parker-Royer treats everything you expect conventional medicine to treat. The success varies with the individual immune
system and the amount of pathology already established in the body. It is always worth bringing your animal in for an initial evaluation and at that time Dr. Parker-Royer will give you her honest opinion.
